4-H Camp Bristol Hills has a pool, 3 ponds, ropes course, basketball courts and archery range. Activities include swimming, environmental education, outdoor living, crafts, sports, fishing, backpacking trips, and counselor-in-training program. Day campers are accepted, and off-season rentals and programs are available. ACA Accredited.

Started in 1924 and located on 140 acres high above the Long Island Sound, the DP Flint 4-H Camp offers 8 one-week sessions with stayover weekends available. The camp features a working farm, comprehensive equine program, beach waterfront and a ropes course with high and low elements. Activities include environmental sciences, archery, sports, kayaking, fishing, woodworking, rocketry and counselor-in-training. ACA Accredited.

Hidden Valley 4-H Camp is located at the south entrance to Watkins Glen State Park with 50 acres in the Watkins Glen Gorge. Programs include archery, canoeing, swimming, woodworking, hiking, science fun, drama, dance and counselor-in-training program. A family camp and a special session for younger campers are offered at the start of the camp season. ACA accredited.

Located south of Malone in the Adirondacks, 4-H Camp Overlook is operated
by the CCE of Franklin and St. Lawrence counties. Camp Overlook has high
and low ropes courses and comprises 30 acres on Indian Lake. Programs
include counselor-in-training, outdoor education, archery, sailing,
canoeing, boating, swimming and aquatics. The camp is open to ALL children
6 to 19 years old, both 4-H members and non-members alike.

4-H Camp Owahta is located 10 miles east of Cortland and operates six, week long sessions. Each session emphasizes a special weekly theme that culminates in a special theme day. Camp Owahta has nature trails, outpost lean-to sites, deck hockey court, basketball courts, swimming pond and low elements ropes course. Several 2 and 3-day trips are offered that include canoeing, biking and backpacking. Day Camp is also available.

Located on the north fork of eastern Long Island, Peconic Dunes is
surrounded by the Long Island Sound to the north and Great Pond to the
southeast. There are eight weeks of traditional and in-depth environmental
programs. Activities include sailing, trips, ethnobotany, GPS/GIS,
canoeing, kayaking, fishing, sports, nature, crafts, outdoor living and
archery. Day campers are accepted. 2008 Dan’s Papers Readers Choice Award,
Best Children’s Camp. ACA accredited.

Lennox Memorial Forest, and borders the West Branch of the Delaware River. There are six one-week sessions, and activities include a ropes course, swimming, photography, science fun, rocketry, fishing, biking, backpacking, crafts and counselor-in-training.

There is a “secret” place within Jefferson County that is located on 177 acres including a sandy shoreline on Millsite Lake, 30 miles north of Watertown. 4-H Camp Wabasso is a secluded treasure that allows kids to enjoy the natural environment while in the company of friends, both new and old. From the time the sun rises until after sunset, activities abound. Children may swim in picturesque Millsite Lake, frolic on the sandy beach, play volleyball or a game of kickball on the recreation field. There are nature trails, educational activities, songs by the campfire, and challenges provided by both low and high ropes courses. Kids sleep in rustic cabins, eat great camp food in the dining hall, and generate memories to last a lifetime.
