4-H Science Toolkit
Activities in the areas of: Astronomy, Geospatial Sciences, Entomology, Things that Fly, Animal Sciences and Water Quaility are being developed as the 4-H Science Tool Kit. Each topic area has a goal of 6 one-hour activities appropriate for afterschool, camp, clubs and other special interest type offerings. These activities are designed to be easily implemented and engaging as to encourage new youth (and volunteers) to get excited about SET. The intention is that six one hour lessons will be strung together – they could be all on the same topic; or if the youth or leader wishes, they could be on a variety of science activities.
