4-H Science, Engineering and Technology
Nationally 4-H is aiming to prepare 1 million new youth in the next five years to excel in science and technology by exposing those youth to 6 or more hours each of 4-H science activities.
What does that goal mean for NYS? Broken down, it means that we are striving to reach 100 new youth per county per year with 6 hours or more of inquiry based science activities.
How will we get there?
Explanded 4-H curriculum options, including a the new 4-H Science Toolkit curriculum full of interesting and easy to teach activities, and
Continuing to focus on how 4-H Connects Kids to Cornell by strengthening partnerships with Cornell departments in order to enrich SET opportunities across the state.
