To promote IPM, trained Master Gardeners and CCE staff answer questions year-round:

* Soil pH testing
* Pruning and fertilization
* Effective watering techniques
* Pest and plant identification
* Reduced pesticide use

INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT (IPM)
CCE’s Professional Horticulture Program
Professional landscaping and horticulture businesses are kept updated on how to reduce pesticide use, conserve water and use environmentally safe pest controls. Also received: soil tests, consultations, Long Island Gardening newsletter and timely email updates. $30/year
