News from Human Development
June P. Mead, Dept. of Human Development, has been invited by National 4-H Headquarters to be part of the National 4-H SET Evaluation Instrument Design Team. The team is headed by Suzanne Le Menestrel, National Program Leader, Youth Development Research, and Jill Walahoski, 4-H SET Evaluation Director, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The team will have its first meeting June 17-19 in Washington, DC.
The Community Improvement Through Youth (CITY) Project team recently presented a workshop entitled, Rebuilding the CITY, at the national Children, Youth and Families At Risk (CYFAR) Conference 2009 in Baltimore. Kay Telfer and Vicki Giarratano, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Broome County; Jackie Davis-Manigaulte and Sara Flowers, Cornell University Cooperative Extension, New York City; Celeste Carmichael, State 4-H Youth Development; and June P.
