To provide vegetable producers, processors, and the vegetable industry with high quality educational programs and cutting edge research-based information so they can profitably produce and market safe and healthful vegetable crops in an environmentally sound manner. This will benefit consumers by supplying safe, high quality, locally grown vegetable products, while maintaining viable farms to enhance the rural landscape and economy of NY State.
